Delivery
Where can my items be delivered and how much will it cost?
All Ottawa and Ottawa area residents will receive premium delivery, inspection and in-home installation for a $55 CDN flat rate. Outside the Ottawa area, please speak with a member of our Sales Team for more information about delivery.
Items purchased are also available for pick-up at our Kanata Distribution Center location, located at 359 Terry Fox Drive. To arrange the pick-up of your merchandise please call 613-254-7124 to book an appointment.
Do you deliver to Gatineau, QC?
Yes. Hull and Gatineau residents are also welcome to our delivery, inspection and in-home installation services.
Can I pick up my items?
Yes. You can choose to pick your items up from the warehouse yourself. Upon recieving your items at the warehouse we will promptly give you a call to let you know your items have arrived and that you may come pick them up.
-When your items have been accepted into the warehouse a representative from the Upper Room Team will contact you to arrange the pick-up. Appointments for pick-up must be made 48 hours in advance to ensure that your items are ready for your when you arrive.
-Items picked up from the warehouse will be available for you to inspect, but will remain in the box.
-Should you wish to pick-up an item that has been assembled, a $35.00 assembly fee will be charged at your time of purchase.

I’ve been waiting for my items but it’s now passed the quoted date range and they still haven’t arrived?
Unfortunately, there are cases when a specific item has been unexpectedly delayed or backordered. When this happens, you will be personally contacted by an Upper Room representative who will inform you of a delay and advise you of an updated arrival date. While situations like these can be frustrating, we know that the wait will be worth it once you receive your beautiful new piece of home furniture.
How can I check the status of my order?
To check the status of your order, have your order number ready and give us a call at 613-254-7124. Please select from the automated options.
Will my furniture come assembled?
Yes. All furniture pieces will be assembled for you in your home upon delivery. Should you choose to pick-up your item from our Distribution Center location your furniutre can be assembled for you for an additional $35.00
What if I’m not at home when my items are delivered?
All items must be received in person. If you are not at home at your agreed upon delivery time without notifying us to come back at a later time, you will be charged a fee for re-delivery.
What if the pieces I’ve ordered don’t fit into my home?
Please note that while we make every attempt to provide you with accurate sizes for each home furnishing piece on our website that all sizes may not be exact. In the event that furniture does not fit into the room or into the house, the customer is responsible for the freight cost both ways and a 20% restocking fee.
What if I refuse the items that I’ve ordered upon pick-up or delivery?
If you refuse or miss the delivery of your items for a non-defective/undamaged product, you will be responsible for all shipping costs. Please note that any orders that are refused for no reason without prior notice or canceled after 48 hours of purchase, the customer will incur both freight charges to the customer’s home/office and the return charges back to the warehouse. If an item is refused due to a manufacturer’s defect or damage in transit, please note any damage on the delivery receipt and a customer service agent will be in contact with you within 24 to 48 business hours.
What if I would like to cancel my order?
For details regarding order cancellations, please call us at 613-721-5873 and speak with a member of our Sales Management Team.
Can I return my purchase?
The Upper Room is now proud to announce the arrival of the Love Your Purchase Policy. If you don't love your purchase you are invited to excahnge it for something you do love. Please visit our showroom for full details.
If you discover concealed damage to your items you have 24 hours to report them to the Customer Service Department.
Warranties
Does The Upper Room offer a warranty on its products?
Yes. All home furniture items purchased come with a limited 1-year manufacturer’s warranty. Home décor items, such as wall art, lamps and table top accessories are not included. Should you wish to purchase extended coverage, please contact The Upper Room’s Sales Department prior to the delivery of you order.
Can I add an extended warranty to my item after it has been delivered?
All extended warranties must be applied to the item prior to its delivery or pick-up. To purchase an extended warranty package please contact our Sales Department.

What types of payments does The Upper Room accept?
If you are looking to purchase an item, we gladly accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, Upper Room Gift Certificates and American Express. Unfortunately, we cannot accept personal cheques.
